Thanks to Clare from the ARROJO Education Team for working with us on our techniques!  You are never to old to Learn!

All About Dance Posted by Kristie

blog braidsAnother great year donating our time to the All About Dance by Kristen Dance Recital!  Braids and Buns were the theme as we collected over $500.00 in donations for the Akron SnowAngels Christmas In July Event!
The Akron SnowAngels help the less fortunate by providing them with warm clothing, toiletries & most importantly great conversation, friendship, compassion & respect.   They plan to “Spread the Warmth” by making sure people have the proper clothing in the winter months but most importantly we want to “Spread the Warmth of Heart” by showing people friendship, compassion and respect.

It is a grass roots venture and their first mission was on February 1, 2015.

blog diaperCome one Come All!  Dump Your Diapers!  Tori, Brodi and Gavin collected over 5500 diapers at their Diaper Dump in June!  Thanks to all of you that supported these kids!

The Portage-Summit Diaper Bank's core mission is to provide an adequate amount of diapers in the sizes families need.  They provide diapers in packs of 20 and they are always in need of diapers in sizes 4, 5 and 6.  The majority of donations they receive are used to purchase diapers in those sizes.

Jewelry Box Project Posted by Kristie

blog jewelry

We asked our clients.....Do you want to repurpose your old jewelry?  They answered yes, brought in 200lbs of jewelry....And then we found the perfect organization that needed our help.

ACCESS is hosting a new event this Fall...The Jewelry Box Project.... They are currently collecting gently used costume jewelry. The jewelry will be cleaned and sorted and will be sold at THE JEWELRY BOX one day sale on November 5th!

All proceeds from the sale will benefit ACCESS.

The vision of ACCESS was to be an independent, non-profit organization that would provide shelter services for homeless single women and homeless women with children.
