Always Learning! Thank you to SKULLZ Salon Education Program for working with us on Dapper Fades and Hard Parts! This class represents a modern twist on classic men's grooming. This course taught us how to simplify the fade, carve the perfetly angled part, while thinning length for the ultimate Pomp!

We are always looking for new ways to help our community...Thanks to Tori and Brodi Wolff we found the Portage-Summit Diaper Bank! The Diaper Bank is located in Portage County and collects diapers from various diaper drives. Once collected the diapers are distributed to three different agencies: Open-M in Akron, the County Clothing Center in Ravenna and Pregnancy Care in Akron and Ravenna.
This year, with the help of our amazing clients Gavin Scott Salon and Spa collect 6773 diapers.

This seminar offered the perfect foundation for stylists who want to create contemporary and cool men's cuts, and provides a platform to improve all masculine styling from timeless cuts to fashion-forward looks
National Philanthropy Day is an opportunity to hightlight local individuals, corporations and foundations that go above and beyond to support the needs of many. In Summit County, the Association of Fundraising Professionals, North Central Ohio Chapter, presented 8 awards to individuals and businesses who commit their leadership, time, talent, and resources to strengthen our community and encourage others to do the same. Gavin Scott Salon and Spa was nominated by Goodwill Industries and was awarded the Small Buisness Leadership Award.

BraPong, the most recent fundraiser at Gavin Scott Salon and Spa, raised $750 for the Katheleen Marie Newman Foundation. The foundation provides financial assistance to cancer patients in the greater Akron area. The game is played by tossing a ping pong ball into various sized bras. Each toss raised $1.
Stow's mayor, Sara Drew, was able to "score" an A cup. She won a free manicure.
