COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT IS PART OF WHO WE ARE
As our customers already know, Gavin Scott Salon and Spa has always been dedicated to supporting organizations doing good work in the Akron metro area. Over the past 10 years we have donated more than $400,000 in sponsorships, retail products, and event hosting for worthy causes. We are especially interested in working with nonprofit organizations that serve the greater good of our local community.
To help us respond more efficiently to donation requests, Gavin Scott Salon has moved to an online application system. This application system will also provide a more equitable process for awarding resources to community organizations.

A GIFT OF BEAUTY IS ALWAYS WELCOME
Gavin Scott Salon and Spa can provide a gift card or a selection of beauty products for your fund-raising event, depending on the type of event, the proposed use of the donation, and the interests of your guests.
The value of gift cards or gift baskets will vary.
HOW CAN WE SUPPORT YOUR ORGANIZATION
Gavin Scott Salon and Spa is pleased to support worthy community organizations and their events, whether through direct donation or purchase of advertising space.

OUR MOST POPULAR FUNDRAISING OPTION
The Evening of Wellness fundraising event is always in demand at Gavin Scott Salon and Spa. We sponsor a limited number of these events each year, so please note the deadlines for applying. Gavin Scott provides the space, the refreshments, and the stylists. Wellness services provided to guests may include chair massage, arm massage with paraffin dip, petite manicure, petite facial, and eyebrow arch.
We also provide invitations and fund-raising tips to help organizations make their event a success. An organization can host up to 40 guests at an Evening of Wellness event.
Application and Award Process
- Applications for Spring Evening of Wellness events are due October 1. And the dates will be announced by November 1
- Applications for Fall Evening of Wellness events will be available June 1 and applications are due July 1. Awards will be announced by August 1
- If the winning applicant is unable to accept the event date awarded, the runner-up applicant will be awarded the Evening of Wellness event.
Children must be at least 5 years old to attend an Evening of Wellness for Kid.
